Feature Guide

Report

How OptiScan.io creates local Markdown, HTML, and CSV reports for audits and handoffs.

The Simple Version

Report gives you export actions for the current scan. Reports are generated locally and can be copied or downloaded without requiring an OptiScan.io backend.

What OptiScan.io Checks

The report uses the scan result: page metadata, score, severity counts, fix checklist, issue explanations, good practices, page signals, and recommended next steps.

Why It Matters

Reports make SEO findings easier to share with clients, teammates, or your future self. Markdown is useful for notes, HTML is client-friendly, and CSV works well for spreadsheets.

How To Use It

  • Use Markdown for implementation notes and tickets.
  • Use HTML for polished client-facing sharing.
  • Use CSV for spreadsheets and prioritization lists.
  • Re-scan after fixes before exporting the final report.

What This Means For You

Use Report when you need a portable record of what OptiScan.io found and how to improve it.
